The Amex Delta Reserve card is now offering a highest ever bonus of 40,000 Delta miles. The normal bonus for the Delta Reserve card is 10,000 miles. The Delta Reserve card also includes 10,000 MQM (Medallion Qualifying Miles). Check out the details of this special offer here.
American Express is offering a highest ever special bonus of 40,000 Delta miles on the Amex Delta Reserve card. This is much higher than the normal bonus of 10,000 miles. It also include 10,000 MQM Medeallion Qualifying Miles and other benefits.
Here are the details for this highest ever bonus offer:
Bonus: 40,000 Delta miles, 10,000 MQM Medallion Qualifying Miles
Spend: $2500 in the first 3 months
Annual Fee: $450 (not waived)
Earn 2x miles on Delta purchases
Delta SkyClub access (cardholder only)
Earn 15,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) and 15,000 bonus miles after you spend $30,000 on purchases on your Delta Reserve card in a calendar year. Earn an additional 15,000 MQMs and an additional 15,000 bonus miles after you spend $60,000 on eligible purchases.
1st checked bag free and priority boarding
Car rental loss and damage insurance
Travel accident insurance
No foreign transaction fees
Even though this offer has a bonus that is much higher than the normal offer, it is difficult to justify the $450 annual fee. The card comes with free access to the Delta SkyClubs for the card holder, and an additional 10,000 MQM. But it does not come with enough benefits to justify spending $450 each year for the card. The only way it makes sense to get the card is if you have already had the other Amex Delta cards like the Amex Delta Gold or Delta Platinum cards. You can only earn the bonus miles once on these cards, so if you need Delta miles to earn free travel in the future, then this would be a good time to take advantage of the highest ever 40,000 bonus miles on the Delta Reserve card.
