You can also transfer points from the Chase Ultimate Rewards program  and the Starwood Preferred Guest Rewards program to United Airlines. The transfer rate from Chase Ultimate Rewards is 1:1 (1 Chase UR point for 1 United MIleagePlus mile). The transfer rate from SPG Rewards to United is only 2:1, meaning you would get 1 United mile for every 2 SPG points you transfer.
