If you are not over the Chase 5/24 rule, or in other words you have not opened more than 5 credit cards in the last 2 years (some business cards do not apply to this rule), and if you need to travel to where Southwest goes in the US or to some international destinations, then this would be a great time to sign up for these cards. Southwest also has a great Companion Pass program if you have 110,000 points where a companion can fly free with you for 1 year. 2 of these cards would help you to be eligible for their Companion Pass.
